MotorWeek Deems 2017 Ford Explorer an SUV-Segment Standout

Has the full-size crossover class been calling your name? Well, if so, we here at Stevens Jersey City Ford would love to introduce you to ours, the 2017 Explorer.

Wondering why, though?

Then, click "play" on the clip below. Here now to help us explain our mindset are the vehicular gurus at MotorWeek:

The Explorer's entry-level engine, a 3.5-liter V6, should have absolutely no troubling meeting the needs of most drivers. Available with your choice of front- or all-wheel drive, the V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission to produce a peppy 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.

And it does a pretty decent job in the fuel-economy department, too, as a front-drive, V6-equipped Explorer is rated at a respectable 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).

To learn more about this superstar SUV, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our Jersey City, NJ location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the current lineup.
